A richly gifted composer, improviser, and guitarist, Dušan Bogdanović has explored musical languages that are reflected in his style today- a unique synthesis of classical, jazz, and ethnic music. As a soloist and in collaboration with other artists, Bogdanovic has toured extensively throughout Europe, Asia, and the United States. His performing and recording activities include work with chamber groups of diverse stylistic orientations including The Falla Guitar Trio and jazz collaborations with James Newton, Milcho Leviev, Charlie Haden, Miroslav Tadic, Mark Nauseef, Anthony Cox, and others. He has over two hundred published compositions ranging from guitar and piano solo works to chamber and orchestral ensembles (Berben, GSP, Doberman-Yppan, et al.), as well as close to twenty recordings ranging from Bach Trio Sonatas to contemporary works (Intuition, GSP, Doberman-Yppan, M.A. Recordings, et al.).

Sérgio Assad is a Brazilian guitarist, composer, and arranger who often performs with his brother, Odair Assad, in the guitar duo Sérgio and Odair Assad, commonly referred to as Assad Brothers. Born into a musical family in Mococa, São Paulo, Brazil, Sérgio Assad began creating music for the guitar not long after he began playing the instrument. He learned Brazilian folk melodies from his father. By age 14, he was arranging and writing original compositions for the guitar duo he had formed with his brother, Odair. At the age of 17, he and Odair began their studies under the best-known classical guitar teacher in Brazil at the time, Monina Tavora, a former disciple of Andrés Segovia. Sérgio later went on to study conducting and composition at the Escola Nacional de Música in Rio de Janeiro, and worked privately with Brazilian composition teacher, Esther Scliar.

Over the last twenty years, Assad has concentrated most of his efforts on building a repertoire for the guitar duo. As a composer, Assad has completed more than fifty works for guitar, many of which have become standards in the guitar repertoire.

A native of Italy, D’Agostino has made his considerable international mark as a musical artist on the guitar since he arrived in America 35 years ago. In 2017 Guitar Player listed him as one of the 50 transcendent superheroes of the acoustic guitar. The CD, “Every Step of The Way,” was awarded by Acoustic Guitar’s People’s Choice Awards with a Bronze medal for Best Acoustic Album of All Time. His signature Seagull acoustic guitar has been voted among the ten best signature guitars by Guitar Player magazine.  

Peppino gives guitar workshops, master classes, and seminars worldwide. Top leading publishers such as Truefire, Alfred Publishing, Hal Leonard, and Acoustic Guitar Magazine Books have published his compositions and instructional methods. 
Peppino and his wife Donna are the founders of the Music World Retreats, where they host music workshops across the globe and partner with some of today’s best instrumentalists and songwriters.

To date, Peppino has recorded 19 CD’s, performed in over thirty-five countries at international festivals and concert halls. He has shared the stage with such greats as Larry Carlton, Eric Johnson, Tommy Emmanuel, Leo Kottke, Martin Taylor, Roland Dyens, David Tanenbaum, and many more. D’Agostino’s 2020 release ‘Connexion’ was released by A-Train Entertainment.

Stephanie Jones is an active soloist and chamber musician who is currently based in Germany and studying Konzertexamen at the University of Music Franz Liszt with Professor Thomas Müller-Pering. Stephanie continues to perform extensively around the globe in multiple tours and festivals and has released a number of solo albums, including “Colours of Spain”, “Bach, the Fly, and the Microphone”, and "Open Sky". She has also won numerous awards in prestigious competitions, including first prize at the Hannabach Guitar Competition, Uppsala International Guitar Festival Competition, and Fine Music Network Young “Virtuoso of the Year” Competition. Stephanie is passionate about sharing her music with others and is recognized as an innovative and deeply musical artist.

Five "Character Pieces" by Francisco Tárrega

Recognized as one of America’s finest classical guitarists, William Kanengiser won First Prize in the 1987 Concert Artists Guild International Competition as well as major guitar competitions in Toronto (1981) and Paris (1983). He has recorded four solo CDs for the GSP label, ranging from classical to jazz to Caribbean to Near Eastern styles, and he recently recorded two CDs for the Suzuki Guitar Advanced Repertoire Series. In 2005 he released a live concert DVD, “Classical Guitar and Beyond”, for Mel Bay Recordings, which also features Mr. Kanengiser’s talents as a comedian/mimic in his infamous “GFA Imitation Show”. A member of the guitar faculty at the USC Thornton School of Music since 1983, he was a recipient of the “2011 Dean’s Award for Excellence in Teaching”. He has given masterclasses around the world and produced two instructional videos, “Effortless Classical Guitar” and “Classical Guitar Mastery” for Hot Licks Video.

Greek guitarist Antigoni Goni is a British Council, Royal Academy and Juilliard School scholar. She is an internationally acclaimed soloist and recording artist and a sought-after pedagogue and festival organizer.

Goni has won a long list of competitions and awards, including the Julian Bream prize (assigned by Julian Bream himself and received from Lady Diana) and the 1st prize and NAXOS prizes of the 1995 Guitar Foundation of America Competition (GFA). The latter launched her career as a concert and recording artist.

Antigoni Goni is the founder of the Guitar Department at the Juilliard Pre-College Division and the Volterra Project, Summer Guitar Institute. She has held a variety of chair, board, and head positions, and has played in practically every guitar society and guitar series all over North America, as well as many prominent guitar festivals in Europe, Russia, South America, and the far East. She regularly tours in the United States, Canada, Japan, Malaysia, and Russia, performing solo or with orchestras.

Classical guitarist David Russell is world renowned for his superb musicianship and inspired artistry.

In recognition of his great talent and his international career, he was named a Fellow of The Royal Academy of Music in London in 1997. The professional Conservatory of Music in Vigo (Spain) named its recital hall “Auditorio David Russell”. A prolific recording artist, his collection includes seventeen CDs with Telarc International and over twenty CDs in total. He is a Grammy award winner for his CD “Aire Latino” in the category of best instrumental soloist in classical music. He received an honorary Doctorate in Music from the University of Arizona in Tucson in 2014, and was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the Guitar Foundation of America in 2018. David continues to tour as a concert guitarist, playing in prestigious halls across the world.

Marco Pereira (born 1950) is a Brazilian classical guitarist. He was born in São Paulo and took lessons from Isaias Savio, an important Uruguayan guitarist and teacher who brought Miguel Llobet's technique to Brazil. Pereira obtained his master's degree at the University of Paris-Sorbonne; his thesis was titled Heitor Villa-Lobos and His Work for Guitar. He teaches harmony, composition arranging, and improvisation at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.

Edson Lopes graduated in 1978 from the Conservatory of Musical and Dramatic Arts "Dr. Carlos de Campos" in Tatuí, São Paulo (Brazil) in the field of classical guitar. In 2003, he received the title "Licentiate in Guitar Performance" from Trinity College London. He was the first prize winner in every guitar competition he entered, among them the "Young Instrumentalists Competition" (sponsored by "Rede Globo de Televisão") and the "1st National Guitar Competition" (sponsored by "Banco do Brasil"). In 1979, Edson participated in the XXII Course of "Musica en Compostela" in Spain, where, under the supervision of Andrés Segovia's assistant José Tomás, he received the "Most Exceptional Student" award and a full scholarship for the following year.


Edson Lopes has performed throughout Brazil as a soloist, in duos and trios, and with orchestras. As a member of the Brazilian Guitar Quartet, he performed in several cities in the US, including Dallas, Austin, Seattle, Hollywood, Washington DC, and New York City. The quartet participated in the "33rd Arts Festival" in Hong Kong and the "7th International Guitar Festival" in Monterrey, Mexico in 2005, and in the “5th International Guitar Festival” in Aarhus, Denmark in 2006. Edson has also performed with the Quarteto Vivace Brasil (flute, two guitars, and percussion) in tours throughout the US.

Yamandu Costa, 7-string guitar virtuoso, was born in Passo Fundo, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. He began his guitar studies with his father, Algacir Costa, band leader of "Os Fronteiriços", when he was 7 years old. Later, he perfected his technique with Lucio Yanel, Argentine virtuoso who was then settled in Brazil. When he was 17, he played for the first time in São Paulo at "Circuito Cultural Banco do Brasil" (BB Cultural Tour). The event was produced by "Estúdio Tom Brazil" (Tom Brazil studio), and from then on he was recognized as one of the most gifted guitar players of Brazil.

Yamandu has created his very particular style of compositions, somewhere between the typical music of the south of Brazil, Choro, and Samba, with acrobatic-like passages, high tempo, and yet very delicate and melodious pieces.

So far, Yamandu has recorded 25 albums and 4 DVDs, including solos, duos, trios, quartets, and with the Symphony Orchestra of  the State of Mato Grosso and the OCTSP-São Pedro Theater Chamber Orchestra. He has also performed with several orchestras around the world, and with renowned musicians such as Baden Powell, Sergio Assad, Pepe Romero, and Juan Falú, among many others. Besides numerous concerts throughout Brazil, Yamandu has toured in many countries across the globe.
