Ata Rastegar

Ata Rastegar was born in 1993 in Ahwaz, Iran, and started learning guitar when he was 13. He got his Master of Arts degree in music from the University of Art in Tehran and studied with prominent Iranian musicians such as Golfam Khayam, Hamed Poursaee, Alireza Tafaghodi, and Mohsen Mohtarami. He has also studied flamingo guitar with Mohamadali Ghelich. Ata has received awards at several reputable guitar festivals such as the National Festival of Youth Music, Tehran Guitar Competition, and Fair Festival, and has served as a jury member in several national guitar competitions.
