Dr. Tariq Harb is a celebrated classical guitarist, known for his virtuosic command of melody and emotion. Winner of prestigious competitions like the Barrios WorldWideWeb and Montreal International Classical Guitar Competitions, Harb has performed on world-renowned stages, including Carnegie Hall and Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw. With seven solo albums, instructional publications, and a suite titled Spirit published by Les Productions d’Oz, Harb is a versatile artist and composer. His duo project “17 Strings” with oud virtuoso Abdul-Wahab Kayyali highlights his innovative spirit. A Jordanian-Canadian with Palestinian heritage, Harb has earned a doctorate from the University of Toronto and currently teaches at Concordia University.
